Welcome to South Florida ABA Center

Our compassionate team of professionals is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where every individual can thrive.

Our Story

South Florida ABA Center didn't just come into existence by chance. Its origin story is deeply intertwined with the personal journey of its owner, whose love and dedication to her son Lucas paved the way for its creation.

At just 8 months old, Lucas's mother began to notice a delay in his development. Though she couldn't quite pinpoint what it was, she trusted her instincts and sought help through Early Steps. Despite the initial approval for minimal intervention, she persisted, advocating for more support as she sensed something more was at play.

When the diagnosis of autism was confirmed by Lucas's neurologist, it brought a mix of emotions. While there was relief in finally having an answer, there was also the realization of the journey ahead. Early intervention became the focal point, and they dove in headfirst, ready to do whatever it took to support Lucas's development.

However, their determination faced an unexpected hurdle when the daycare Lucas had been attending for over a year asked them to leave, citing an inability to cater to his needs. This moment ignited a fire within Lucas's mother – her maternal instinct transforming into a fierce determination to ensure that no other family would have to endure such a rejection.

In that pivotal moment, she made a promise to herself and to other families facing similar challenges. She vowed to embark on a new path, transitioning from nursing to specialize in behavior analysis. Her mission was clear: to create a haven where families could find the support, guidance, and understanding they needed every step of the way.

Thus, the South Florida ABA Center was born out of love, determination, and a deep-seated commitment to making a difference. It stands as a testament to the power of a mother's love and the unwavering resolve to turn challenges into opportunities for growth and change. Through her journey with Lucas, she found her purpose – to be a beacon of hope and support for families navigating the complexities of autism. And in doing so, she has not only transformed her own life but has also touched the lives of countless others, illuminating the path forward with compassion and resilience.

Our Approach

At South Florida ABA Center, our mission goes beyond just providing ABA services; it's about creating a haven of understanding and support for individuals and families living with autism. Our team members aren't just highly trained professionals; many of us have personal experiences with autism, whether through our own journey or that of a loved one.

This personal connection drives us to go above and beyond in providing not just therapy, but genuine empathy and understanding. We understand the challenges and triumphs that come with autism, and we're here to walk alongside each family every step of the way.

What sets us apart is our commitment to creating a safe and nurturing environment where every individual feels valued and understood. We tailor our approach to meet the unique needs of each person we work with, recognizing that autism is a spectrum and that one size does not fit all.

Additionally, our center is dedicated to ongoing education and training, ensuring that our team stays at the forefront of the latest research and techniques in ABA therapy. This allows us to provide the most effective and comprehensive care possible.

But perhaps most importantly, we believe in fostering a sense of community. We're not just a therapy center; we're a support system for families navigating the complexities of autism. Whether it's through parent support groups, community events, or simply being a listening ear, we're here to offer whatever support and resources our families need.

At South Florida ABA Center, we're not just in the business of therapy; we're in the business of making a difference in the lives of those we serve.
